Some more HDRs to bore with

Had a short trip to Thoseghar waterfall in Satara sometime in November. Though not the best season to visit. The main waterfall was reduced to a trickle, so we went up above to shoot the stream instead.

And we were not disappointed .

Re: My rumblings with Nature - A photologue

Got a few queries asking for EXIF info for the last 3-4 pics. All were shot in Manual mode at F8(IIRC) and 30sec exposure with auto ISO in broad daylight. 30sec exposure was achieved by 10-stop B+W ND filter. Post processing involved minor touch up on contrast, saturation etc.

Re: My rumblings with Nature - A photologue

While searching for some fort visits, came across this thread. Brilliant pictures and collection Kailash. Truly Amazing.

Do you have a master list of all the forts, their distances from nearby known cities? The reason I am asking is to build a trip plans for visiting two forts every holiday I come across. The rich heritage of forts and Sahyadri range has always inspired, told the tales of Shivaji. I want to re-iterate that story t my kids by taking them to various places. They are grown ups and can be started with mild to medium treks.

Hence the preparatory question Thanks again for such a wonderful thread.

Brilliant photos. Reminds me of my dad's office calendar photos from the 70s and 80s. Great captures. The mountain pictures on the top - is that also from Toseghar? looks like somewhere in the Andes

Thanks a lot Avinash . I regret not having kept detailed logs of my treks, but I usually refer to this site for info.

http://www.trekshitiz.com/trekshitiz...harashtra.html

It has details about forts, ways to reach, water sources info and maps.
