5-10km on the stretch was pathetic after Anchetty before Biligundla as per last info. And that info is quite old. Hence no idea about latest.

The route all the way from Hosur - Denkanikotai - Anchetty - Hogenakkal - Dharmapuri is good. The roads are well laid and you shouldn't have any difficulty at all. The last me and a couple of riding buddies went there was in March - Apr 2015. Just be aware that this route (Anchetty - Hogenakkal) is an elephant coridor and if your lucky you may get to spot an elephant or two on your drive. There are occassional bad patches ( a few 100 meters or so here and there), but it's not something that should have you worried. All in all it is a route worth driving and very scenic as well.
