Amazing. Loved your writing style. Definitely among the best logs we have here. Read word by word.
I hope & wish you are writing further on this log.

That night I could have been killed. Or robbed. And I don’t want to imagine anymore.
NH 60 from Balasore to KGP is a single carriageway now as the other lane has been totally dismantled and is being newly relaid. I have been through this stretch many times in the last few months but the present single lane is a concrete one. Though there are many speed breakers except for couple of rough patches here and there the road is in okay condition of what i have experienced. The diversions are rough but are well marked except the last diversion towards Balasore before the huge flyover.

The stretch is a bit lonely but i have not heard about any robbery or any untoward incident till now.

Great writeup which is very well narrated. Eagerly waiting for the next update.

BTW,Where in kolkata is your home? I am also from kolkata.

Ten Thousand Thundering typhoons!-As Captain Haddock always said.

Exceptional! And did I say, you certainly write well!

That said, you could have actually planned it better. Had that debacle in Vizag not taken place, you would've reached earlier!

Well, well! It all depends upon fate, timing & a bit of luck I suppose!

Cheers!

Appereciate all this.

After all YOLO! ( For the uninitiated -You only live once!)

Absolute respect Pritam.

Others have already said it & I will just repeat it, but this is really a great achievement. Given the fact the you escaped a fatal accident just 3 months before this trip, hats off to your mental strength and persistance.

Obviously the travelogue has been really good till now and I am sure it will be really interesting to read it till the last post, but what I liked the most is opening post and your narration style. Undertaking this journey is one thing and presenting it here realistically is huge task. When it comes to pictures, I need not say anything because you are already a professional photographer.

Looking forward to your next post.

Thanks,

Preetham, the way you have tailed up the 2nd part of the story makes me feel the real life riding that you had encountered.

Too realistic way of description. Enjoyed this edition and waiting for the 3rd day...Soon.

Adding one more thing in my comment.. Preetham, You sure will increase 200NS sale buddy.I feel this will be the best marketing that NS have ever received too. What else do you require Bajaj for boosting up your sales?

This is one of the craziest travelogues I have come across any where. 1100+kms on the second day is an incredible feat. Kudos to your endurance.

Waiting for the remaining part of your journey. Glued to this thread and rating it 5 stars..

Discounting the fact that you are my big brother, this is ,by far and away, one of the most astonishing travelogues I have come across on this forum. 8400 kilometers on 4 wheels is an extremely daunting aspect, so I can only imagine the strength and courage it must have taken to undertake this journey on 2 wheels. Everyone who has heard this story had only one thing to say: "This is an adventure of a lifetime, and hats off to him for doing this". I tip my hat to you too. Respect!

Wow! Dude your writeup is as good as the trip. This is the first thing I read after reaching office. You seem to keep your readers hooked onto you. Feels like I did the trip along with you. Amazing and eagerly waiting for the rest of the days. Keep 'm coming.
