The details of arranging permits for Vighokote has always been bit sketchy. I had read that you need to arrange for permits from BSF office Bhuj in advance. Recently there was another post in TripAdvisor that these permits has to be arranged one week in advance as per some new guidelines.

In case you had arranged for permits yourself, can you please let know the procedure for the same.

Also, the BSF memorial seems to be newly constructed one, bit strange location they have, since public is allowed only till India bridge.

Also, was thinking you have to surrender your camera & mobiles at India Bridge check post.

The permits need to be arranged from BSF HQ at Bhuj and yes it takes time to do that.

The memorial is constructed within their base perimeter and is meant for paying homage to those who have fallen in the line of duty .

# DAY VI &VII : BHUJ-VAPI-MUMBAI

# I started the day early as I had a long way to cover and my target was to reach Vapi,Gujarat. The route was nothing special and involved basically drive on the National Highway via Bachachau towards Ahmedabad and thereafter using the NE 1 move ahead to Baroda and then catch on the NH 8 which would take me to Vapi. I had a break at Vapi and started the next day towards Mumbai.

# This concluded my visit to the Kutch region where I had the opportunity to see many interesting and unique structures , hopefully it was a fruitful insight depicted by me.
