Re: A 13000 km, 72 day ride through India, Nepal and Bhutan

Amazing travelogue Sir! Would love to visit Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan some day. The Tiger's Nest monastery - looks very intimidating!

At your age, I truly wish to travel around if I am half as healthy and fit as I am today. Maybe in a pickup truck with my wife in tow.

All the best for your future travels!

Kudos to you, sir, for such an epic ride! I am a little over half of your age and I would be really skeptical of undertaking such a challenging ride even if the leaves are approved! It is a lovely narration accompanied by beautiful pictures. I rated the thread a well deserved 5*.

Amazing Travelogue Sir. Beautifully written framed with pictures and one HELL of a ride. Seems you've lived those years to the days spent on road. Makes me want to take a bike and head on trip again and again. Kudos for the courage and energy.

Deepak sir,

Mind blowing rendition. Rated a full 5 stars!

Going the distance in a L-O-N-G trip like this requires perseverance, gumption and moreover the spirit to keep fighting when the chips are down. The fact that you have done it really boggles the mind.

I am quite sure at my current age, I still wont be able to do it (acquiring leaves aside) even in a car!

Hats off to you and your partner!

What an amazing experience. Reading your travelogue makes by blood race! I am a couple of years younger than you. Your spirit of adventure truly inspires me to follow your example. Hats off to you Sir!

Ashok

I absolutely loved reading every bit of this, even though I followed your journey live as it happened. Hope to follow in the trails you both have burned in the coming years.

One of the best TL that I have read and thanks for the beautiful pictures and smooth narration. Kept me glued to the thread from start till the end.

Salute your resolve to undertake such a mission and that too on a two wheeler. Congratulations for your accomplishment.

Great ride.. Congratulations! When did you undertake this journey? Was it June / July 2014?
