Excellent T-Log with some superb pictures.
Rated 5 Stars.

Was unable to see the videos as it does not load here in office network

How did XUV fare in snowy terrains? Also wanted to know about availability of Petrol Bunks along NE route.

Thanks Dhanush for putting up such a gem of a travelogue. The pictures are simply mesmerizing to say the least! Frankly, I was not expecting to be able to read your this travelogue so soon. So thanks again for putting up the extra effort after your wonderful guides to Tawang.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Thanks hossain. Many had asked for a more detailed report of the entire trip when I penned in the Tawang route guide. That was a good motivation to get me started. However, I lost steam in between and had to push myself to get the TL to this level atleast.

Thanks again for the kind words.

Thank you Bageera for your words of appreciation.
My XUV isnt a 4X4. So, I treaded with lot of caution. It did well and beyond my expectations in that regard. That said, I will confess that I didn't test it too much into the heavy snow territory. I maintained it within the laid tarmac as far as I could. Being stranded with two kids and a furious wife in the middle of nowhere at freezing cold is not something which I ordered from the menu. So, I kept my naughtiness to myself

Petrol bunks are available in all major towns in the North East. It's cheapest in Arunachal, Sikkim and Meghalaya. Assam has more bunks and is costlier too.
In Tawang sector, it's available at Bomdila and Tawang. Nothing beyond or in between.

Beautifully written and well narrated. Videos were well edited and pictures were really awesome. Some places seemed so divine, that it strengthened my resolve that I have to plan a trip to northeast !

Thank you very much sir. Your escapades to the mighty mountains on a not so mighty car continues to serve as a huge inspiration to a generation of travellers. Hats off

Thank you Ranjeet for your very kind words. If you have got a bump to your motivation to travel, that gives me more satisfaction than anything else. There's so much to explore in this country and the more we sit inside our rooms, the more we are losing out.
