Thanks a lot for the kind words. Well, I've seen Mahindras used extensively at beaches in Goa and regions in UK (Uttar Karnataka).

Re: Goa: A room with a view!

Lovely write up Sharan. That narrative with Frustu and Not so old sis was a nice way of putting forth your conversations.
On the trip part, well, just when I thought I've had enough and almost all of Goa, you opened my eyes. Never heard of this Salaulim Dam, now I've got another reason to visit Goa one more time.
The Punto in red looks dope by the way.

Thanks a lot for the lovely compliments.

And yes, between red and black, the heart won!

Re: Goa: A room with a view!

Great writing and great snaps! The idyllic charm of Goa is unbeatable and I am longing for what would be my fourth visit. This is despite the fact that I call a beach town and tourist destination - Varkala - as my home town.

Edit - voted *****

Re: Goa: A room with a view!

Hi Divya,

Well written travelogue and nice pics as well. Could you please share how steep the climb was to the Selaulim Dam Sinkhole? Were there actual stairs or just a sloping hillside?

Regards,
SS

Thanks a lot suzuki san!

Salaulim dam has proper stairs. 150 odd, medium sized steps. It wasn't difficult to ascend.

I truly liked your narration style. Good to see a brother sister trip. Abarth actually looks good in your pics.

Thanks a lot! But it's not an Abarth. I got mine barely 6 months before Abarth got launched. It's a 1.4 NA petrol.

Re: Goa: A room with a view!

Thank you for such a good narrative and great pictures. I am a regular visitor to Goa from Madras and yet I didn't know about Selaulim Dam Sinkhole.
Another first in this forum - a trip by a brother with his sister.

Thanks a lot! I'm happy that the thread could add a place or two for the fraternity to visit to.
We siblings have been roaming together for a while now.
