Sringeri-Agumbe is very good and an easy drive even at night. Just make sure to have the route saved in offline mode on your navigation device. The mobile network is patchy throughout. There are a few deserted junctions where you may inadvertently take a wrong turn.

The sore point in driving in dark is that you will lose sight of the immense natural beauty that the area has to offer!

Chikkamagaluru-Sringeri is doable anytime, no problems at all.

But you should keep an eye out for small animals- mongoose, rabbit, cat etc, that tend to cross the road all of a sudden.

No. Delta Beach is the Kodi Bengre beach that you had mentioned. Manipal students have christened it Delta beach.

Nice travelogue - I live close by in Manipal and I still haven't been to the Koteshwara beach. Like the saying goes "Ghar ki murgi, Dal barabar".

Should make it a point to visit all these treasues of nature.
