If you keep taking that little angel on more trips like this, these words would sure turn out to be true before long!

Read your travelogue with interest; the style and the pace being the highlights for me. The photographs complement the write up. Thanks for sharing.

Re: A 2.5 year old's first encounter with the Himalayas

Wow, that's a nice travelouge. It was just wonderful hearing that you traveled with a 2.5 year old and she seems to have enjoyed every bit of it. Really gives me (and my friends) the courage to do so with our kiddos. Thanks for the inspiration. I can refer this travelouge to my parents when they oppose our plans..

Re: A 2.5 year old's first encounter with the Himalayas

A very beautiful travelogue with amazing pictures. I was smiling all the way from beginning to end while reading your travelogue, and I am sure you can guess why? That is because of watching your little angel having fun on the mighty mountains, meeting strangers and getting ready to be a wanderer like many of us, Team-bhp-ins.

Thank you for such a great write-up. I could literally imagine myself in your place. Me too have a small daughter who is hardly a year old now. Like many fellow Bhpians said you have provided a lot of inspiration to people like me. You have ignited the passion in your daughter to travel and hope Ziva too becomes a great traveler.

Excellent write up with beautiful pics. Generally the tension builds up whenever we travel with our lil ones until they get adjusted to the environment and specifically the food.

Good to know your daughter has managed it well leading to a good holiday for you guys.

Rated 5* this thread and keep providing us with loads of travelogues and inspiring others to do the same!! Cheers!!!

Re: A 2.5 year old's first encounter with the Himalayas

Loved reading through this blog. The little ones have a completely different take on Himalayas. I feel its best we expose them early to the awesomeness called Himalayas.
The best part is my kid after coming back from Sikkim (2016) and Arunachal (2017) even dreams of Himalayas and sometimes eats only when we show him the videos we took mounted on dash. I can completely relate to the feeling you must have experienced. Keep travelling and sharing such wonderful blogs.

A short video

Hey that was really nice of you to take Ziva at such an young age, too good , you have company in the many trips that you would undertake with full cooperation from the family.Enjoyed reading your travelogue centred around Ziva.

Thanks, Ananthc. I noticed that kids adjust to the new environment quite easily.

Really? That's so cute. This Video is better than those animated rhymes on youtube.

Excellent TL bro. Read the whole thing in one shot. Ziva is super adorable. Kudos to you and your wife to undertake this trip with the little one which is indeed a great task considering Ziva was not yet 3. Thanks again for sharing the special moments you spent with your family and making us a part of this trip as well.

Re: A 2.5 year old's first encounter with the Himalayas

A great travelogue indeed. Loved the way your little angel accompanied you. These are memories which make life wonderful. Had gone through your Spiti travelogue and this one too is equally brilliant.

Himalayas never stop to amaze mankind. And when the mountains come calling, one should always answer in affirmative.

Pratyush
