Cheers,
Thanks a lot for your kind words gmhossain.
Any idea why is the turn by turn navigation not provided? Is there preferential settings for different countries? Or is it the phone settings that change from country to country? If I buy a phone from Bhutan, will it work for me?

I think, it's mainly due to techno-legal issues. Even in India, turn by turn navigation was enabled much later than North America. The feature is tied with geographical location. So it won't work with any phone, unless a modified/altered version of Maps app is used.

Re: An XUV500 speaks - 9500 km escapade from Kochi to Bhutan

Adding the route map of the journey. Having traversed through a major part of the country, I felt it unfair if the trails not documented. So, just an overview. Due to the limit to number of places that can be added in gmaps, the locations have been just inserted so as to show an overview of the trip; not the exact locations.

Thanks for sharing another great account of your escapades, Dhanush. Engaging writeup, and amazing snaps helped make light work of a Monday at work.

Your logs contain so much precise information that one can follow it to a T for one's own trips. I recently made use of your extremely detailed log on Tawang for my own trip to Sangti. Thanks for sharing and please carry on the great work!
Thanks a lot gunin for your very kind words. Glad that the log could be of some use to you.
And sorry for the late reply. I really can't figure out how in high-water did I miss your reply to the thread.
