Kinnaur & Spiti: Journey of a Lifetime

Wonderful travelogues with beautiful details. Finished it in one sitting :-)
One ques though: On the return journey, why did you choose Sangla? If the intention was a stopover, it could have been Kalpa (on the route) rather than Sangla ( a 1 hr diversion)?

What a wonderful travelogue @ Bluebird_7 !

I took an inspiration from your travelogue and completed Delhi-Kinnaur-Kaza-Manali-Delhi circuit last week with family in my humble Polo GT TSI.

It was a great road trip with many memories to cherish forever.

The Car performed absolutely fantastically (albeit some careful driving @ Kaza-manali route) and enjoyed driving Polo in all terrains.

It is a less travelled landscape compared to the Leh circuit but not lesser in terms of beauty.

Hope reading about Polo doing it, other driving enthusiasts take a cue & explore the region to see one of the nature's best.
