all 8 at some point of time, hired cars or own car

Hmm, i like all sorts of roads, still slightly leaning towards hills of moonar and ooty and yeah north karnataka and ap for thin population on highways (atleast when i drove)

Only drove in UK from Swansea to Gower Highlands (amazingly beautiful), but would have loved to in Singapore.

India:

Delhi/NCR followed by Rajasthan

Uttaranchal because of its scenic beauty coupled with newly made roads (when I travelled sometime in late 2003)

UK, US, Malaysia and Singapore.

Only in UK and the US.

3. Which is your favourite country (overall experience).

Each country has its pros and cons. Nothing to beat India.

4. Which is the country you loved driving on.

UK, amazing roads, though speed limit is 70 mph. did a lot more than that. No cops in most places, just speed cameras. And the best thing was they have a board which says speed cameras ahead !!!

India:

1. How many states have you visited.

TN, Karnataka, Kerala, AP, Maharastra, Goa, UP & Delhi

2. Among the states visited, how many have you driven on.

Only the southern 4.

3. Which is your favourite state (overall experience).

Kerala women are God's gift to humanity and their backwaters. Goa is man's gift to humanity. If you want to feel like you are abroad, go to Goa during the tourist season.

4. Which is the state you loved driving on.

Tough call, TN & Karnataka. Love the Old Madras route. Hosur to Krishnagiri stretch on the GQ.

Australia, been there twice and stayed in Sydney, Brisbane and melbourne. Love those places for everything..
Even today i cherish the memories of driving Pajero to Blue Mountians.

France, extremely friendly people, lovely landscape, great roads, great cars and excellent traffic sense. Only issue is language. China & USA are great but there is some charisma in Europe

HP for great scenery

Delhi strangely, I bought my first car here and even learnt to drive on its roads, something abt this city makes me feel good.

Since specific areas of authority are constitutionally assigned to the the UAE Federal Government, while other powers are reserved for the 7 member emirates, I believed the individual emirates could be called countries. I stand corrected. Thank you Steeroid.

Best country - Germany (lots of roads with no speed limits!)
Best country to drive : Germany again

Best state : kerala - home is heaven!
Best state to drive : Tamil nadu, traffic free long straight roads!

Friendly people, lovely life quality, beautiful landscapes and best of all as the saying goes-in italy the speed limit is the top speed of your car.

best state- Rajasthan-less and friendly people, lovely Architecture, and the evening sunlight.
