Re: A road-trip to Darjeeling & some unexpected snowfall!

Awesome travelogue, Samba. All the more perfect reading it at work on a Friday.
The Duster is the perfect upgrade for the kind of travels you indulge in, and we look forward to more of them.

Thanks for sharing.

Another lovely TL from you. A TL on Darjeeling really makes me miss that part of the Himalayas, especially when your Dad is from that town and you have heard so much about it.

The snow clad pictures were superb. Lucky Duster to be able to witness the white in it's early days itself. Congratulations once again on the purchase, I am sure Ria and you are very happy with it.

Thanks.

What i heard is, till Tonglu, any 2wd SUV can make it with a good driver.
The last steep part is not yet paved and that requires a 4wd.

Thanks a lot.

Yes, after this trip am overlooking the niggles. The positive's overshadowed the niggle's.

Thanks a lot. Yes, me and Ria both are happy with the Duster. Infact my dad loves it a lot, but my mom still prefers the back seat of the Etios!

Yes, we clicked the pics at the same place on the way back from Rock-garden.

My next target is to click my Duster on the Sandakphu trail, where you clicked your Thar!
