A teeny lil one to Rewalsar was all I could manage to go public with.

Man oh man, what a thread Secretariat! Showcasing the inner beauty of tamilnadu while also compassing your travelogue. The bits about the jallikattu, kaveri neeru and of course the restriction of able to feed only a 1000 at a time - was laughing like a nut. Your description of the jallikattu reminds me of Kamal haasan doing just that in Virumaandi - one of the very few Tamil movies I have watched. Others being baassha and Indian. The Kaveri water dispute is something that most commoners won’t even care about that you have made abundantly clear in the tea episode. I tell my Tamil friend the same XD. They are very warm and welcoming and feel thrilled to bits if we try speaking the little Tamil we know - the same joy a kannadiga gets in Bengaluru.
