Keep Calm and Eat Pho - 2 ½ Weeks in Vietnam!

Zodak,
Sapa is a beautiful place, but it is a hilly place. The roads are steep and unless you walk/trek, you cannot enjoy the place. With a 70 year and a 5 year old, it is not advisable at all. Reaching Sapa from the airport is also a long 6 hour car drive. And medical facilities at Sapa are bare minimum. So not advisable.
Halong Bay, Ninh Binh and Hanoi is a much better proposition. Each place is about 2/3 hours drive from each other and more relaxing.
Check the weather for end May.
May / June is the best time to visit Central Vietnam.
