Indian Hotels at one-of-a-kind locations

Apart from the star studded & luxurious resorts, I always find the government owned properties to have one of the best locations. Yes the amenities and experience of staying there may not be comparable with a Star hotel, however their location and more importantly the cost easily makes up for it.

Here is one example. Haritha Beach Resort in Rushikonda beach @ Vizag, operated by Andhra Pradesh Tourism.

One of my favourite places while it existed but unfortunately this wonderful property has now been razed to dust !! Such a disgrace that such beautiful property doesn’t exist anymore. I hear some better property is coming up there but the original charm is lost forever !!
