Great report MAG.
I think there are a number of unusual road humps on route via hassan to Belur, and a number of potholes on route from Belur to Chickmangalore. My car had taken a lot of scrapes in these stretches.

BEAutiful pics and write-up!

IMO the first pic of the Swift is beautiful, and deserves a place in the auto image thread.

Rjstyles69 - bless his heart, must have been rotting away somewhere in the depths of Karnataka over that weekend. Therefore, and in conclusion, Rjstyles69 - bless his heart wherever he's fermenting away, and I havent met each other since the days of the BLR go-karting meet. Now dont you start

Hope your car was happy.

Also I'm impressed you seem to have learned how to use the N73 camera finally or was it Samurai's effect.

Maan, you did travel a long extra distances just to go to Mlr...Are u sure, or u did some extra distances somewhere from Mlr? Wish shiradi ghat problem is permanently solved...

Pumpwell circle (Mlr) to my House is exactly 375kms on NH48....You have almost travelled 400kms extra in each way....

Samurai spot on about the speedo error. Even you noticed that?

And yeah with maggie and his exceptional navigational skills i guess it's actually proper. Don't be surprised if he reached off some other city as a detour to get good roads.

Nice write-up, and really lovely pics. The Swift's looking awesome, and those alloys too !

Like Vid asked, you finally learnt the nuances of using a camera?

E-E method is Empty to Empty method. It is only accurate if you carry a bottle of petrol and wait till the car stops moving without fuel. It is not at all advisable as the Muck inside the car fuel tank will choke the fuel filter.
