Nothing much, need to rectify the exhaust a bit and just a general service.

Folks,
I did Chennai-Coimbatore- Chennai this weekend on my new SX4.
I took the k'giri-mettur-bhavani-perundurai-avinashi route as mentioned here.
The final stretch is a nightmare!Took almost 9.30 hrs.
As advised by A few fellow TBhpians opted for the Sathy-athani-anthiur-ammapet-mettur-krishangiri route(saved 1.5 hrs). Was in chennai in under 7.45 hrs
It was a breeze!
I stronlgy advice memebers to try this route.
Thanks all for the advice.

cheers

Rahul guessed as much about that Santro. Kannada number plates hehehe.
That dude is a real wannabe I must say.

The Santro is all pimped with a loud music system and some funny lights in the interior and beneath.

Owner lives in Mathikere(me thinks) and you can find this car in Vyalikaval Coffee day on saturdays.

Me and my frend had a hearty laugh the day we saw this piece of crap with those tyres.

God knows Mahesh.

Could be coz of the proximity to Triveni Road and Yeshwanthpur. Both these places have a lot of workshops and tinkerers .

Triveni Road is a haven for local sticker shops too,you also get to hear the most weird sounding bikes, auto's and cars.

So makes it quite obv' that the tastes for mod's also come down to the same levels for the local chaps.

Nice writeup. Guess you put the writeup within an hour of reaching blr???

And then we found ourselves in Coimbatore Gandhivaram (or is it Gandhipuram) bus stand at about 4am. A call to Harrie and I prayed to god that he would wake up. Atleast this time. I had no patience to call him almost like the 50 odd calls I made last time . As I was about to give up the first time and hurl a few expletives at binz. Finally I heard a voice at the other end. I was relieved. For I knew this one time I wouldn't be stranded.
Dude, try working mon-sat, 8AM - 8PM, trust me you'll not want to wake up at 4AM on a sunday. But if i remember it right last time you called at 2AM
