Ride to Madikeri from Bangalore .

Hello guys did a Madikeri ride few weeks back , 2 days ride , sat and sunday.

2 bikes

Apache modded to 200cc
Me on my humble 180 cc.

Route – Bangalore – Mandya – Srirangapatna – Hunsur – Periyapatna – Kushalnagara – Madikeri – Virajpet – Gonikoppa – Kutta – Mananthavadi – Sultanbatthery – Gundlupet – Mysore – Bangalore

Distance covered: 743 Kms.

Was bugged up with work and had to go somewhere , what best than madikeri .It was raining all the 2 days , we had fully prepared with rain jackets and gum boots .

Highlights were , harangi dam, abbey falls ,irrupu falls .

I will let the potos talk now.

On the way to madikeri

Harangi dam in full force , infact they had opened the gates at 10 am and we were there at 11 am .

Effect of the water , its the bridge that is submerged , not the road .

On the way to abbey falls

Majestic iruppu falls

Mysore palace on return .

Thats it guys .

Nice Pics dude... Biking really thrills specially in these weather...

I really liked the bridge submerged by water pics....Was this planned/known to everyone before opening the sluice gates??? or it happened accidentally?

Thats nice Adventure. Very nice places for sure. Good snaps too. 3 weeks back my 3 years old FujiFilm FinePix S7000 developed technical snag in CCD and photos come with vertical green line. Now I purchased Kodak C763 digi cam which is quiet good as well soon I plan to visit coastal karantaka.

Ravi.
