Weekend Trip to Innovative Film City

Well, I guess you'll say....another one!!!

Yes, I had been planning for some time to goto IFC but due to one reason or the other was not able to make it earlier.

13th July 08 - Had decided to start by 9:30AM and it was a bright and sunny morning. Carried water, some snacks and an Umbrella to hide from the scorching sun.

The directions were pretty clear (thanks Patchyboy & VJ_maverick), took the kanakpura road, climbup to the NICE and then join the Mysore highway. Look for the VOLVO heavy earth mover dealer on the left and then slow down for a left turn, IFC is marked. Take the left, go straight for 2-3 minutes, aagin turn left for IFC, is well marked. It took us apprx 45min from BSK to IFC, using NICE.

No Problem Dadu! Any Time and Nice weekend getaway and I suppose much have been added since we last visited in January. So were you allowed to take pics inside and also did the Beach get started up? According to Sheridan (DRAGONLORD) they were planning to add that and infact we witnessed the initial startup of the artificial beach last time.

As you see from the first map, there are many things to do and you can spend the whole day there, but due to the scorching sun, we had our lunch and drove back home for a nice afternoon nap.

IFC & Wonderla are hardly any distance for the bangaloreans, you can go have lunch and come back, if not more. How's the little one doing ??

@dadu: I suppose you missed my query in my posting earlier regarding the artificial beach. A couple of my friends are planning to take their kids along and hence needed your feedback on it. Is the beach ready for usage?

No worries dadu! Thanks for the numbers and i will pass that on to them. I am sure that this will be a good place to hangout with family and friends given the different themes available for people to explore and enjoy.

You are quite right, my mistake in captioning. Perhaps I am more influenced by Cinderella
