Did you notice something weird? Almost all the cars seem to bear the registration numbers starting with "A B1 A". Why?!!
Is that a mere coincidence? All the cars in Male are bought around the same time! How's that possible?

EDIT: Of course one possibility could be that A B1 A represents Male. That means the numbers actually are the next row of alphanumeric series in the plate. In fact some cars just have the second row of characters directly without the top line!

Toyota XA is a very good car. Capable, humble and cute!
Nice to see so many hatches.

A very nice travelogue. Pictures are icing on the cake. Keep it up!

Nice pictures. I see Scions, Daihatsus badged as Toyota (their parent company). Nice variety of cars, nearly all successful Asian hatchbacks.

XA is sold as Scion in the US. Ain't it?
And from what I've heard, the youngsters love them there.

Maybe the cars are owned by the govt and give it to people on lease and hence the number...?

No tar road.
Why?

Thanks for sharing the pics. Truly beautiful place.
That picture also has the Fiat Punto and the Nissan Micra (although looks like with a Renault badge)

Their first tared roads are coming up at their new artificial island!

And maybe coz they get more rain, paved proved more durable.

Thats the plane I took. Its 1hr 40 min to Male from Trivandrum. IA can do it in 50min as they use a bigger plane.

One can also fly from Bangy direct.
