Roadtrip to NorthCape the northernmost point of EUROPE

During mid August we made a road trip to Northcape, the northern most point of Europe.
Our Starting Place was town called Luleå in northern Sweden.
Hope you guys enjoy the photos.
We drove in a Mercedes E class W210, a car suitable for such long trip, very comfortable and quiet and not a single problem on the whole 5000km long trip.

On the way to Finland

Breathtaking scenery and beautiful roads, notice the abscence of trees we are now north of the tree line so no more trees to be seen on the rest of trip until we head southwards.

Nice pics there ashran. Very scenic spots and the roads are lovely.

Looks like the reindeer is getting pepped up for a drag. Notice the rear legs are positioned for a burnout.

Overall it was a very nice trip and a definitely recommended for those who might to try drivng up there..

but i think before entering Norway they should put up a sign or Warning it is DAMN expensive there
ofcourse i am there several times in a year but it still amazes me how expensive that country is.
Petrol price was around 1.3€ a liter and driving around in a V8 car doesnt help.

Hope you guys like this thread if there is any information you need just dont hesitate to ask.

Ps: sorry for the bad photos after the trip the camera has been upgraded to a much better one.

exactly. May be we should have a international travelogue as well.
Am amazed on how a road can end in a parking lot. sounds funny. is there any other part of the world that ends the same way ?

Ashran2 - I have been planning to visit Sweden for a while, a friend has been trying to persuade me to visit him. After seeing your pictures it might be sooner than I thought it would be. Will ping you if it happens soon. Till then drive safe

Nice pictures and ofcourse fantastic scenery.I never thought W210 looked this good. What engine does it have? Whats the thing beside your right fog lamp?

Note the clarity of the photos. Things look much different when the incessant Indian water vapor is not in the air.

Yes the W210 is a very handsome looking car if taken care of. Ours is a E430 its a 4.3lt 32v engine with 280hp and 400nm torks
The thing beside the foglamp is a plug outlet which you can connect to a power output to heat the car in winters its especially good up here when its -40C outside I will post more pics of the Car, it has recieved some upgrades since the trip
