Day 3

Day 3

Places Covered:
Kundapura-->Maravanthe-->Murudeshwar-->Jog falls.

Distance :Around 170km

After a tiring previous day,Our day started at 8:30am.Had Breakfast at the hotel itself was very good considering the previous day food.We set to marvanthe at 10:00am and reached by 10:30am.Parked my car and got down when My friend asked me to take the car further near the Beach which I blindly did.When i stopped the car i realised the biggest mistake i had made,The wheel had lost traction and had got under the sand.Did not bother about it and played in the beach for about an hour.After we came back I tried to Reverse but no improvement.Then we saw about 20 people coming to our rescue.I didnt know what to do was in a delmia,But those people helpled us to take the car out of the sand by placing wooden boards on all 4 wheels.
Paid them 200rs and started to Murudeshwar.Reached tere by 12:45pm.Went into the main temple for darshan.After that had lunch in the Beach resturant and went to see the Biggest Statue of Lord Shiva.It started raining heavily at this time so not many pics from there.
We started to Jog falls at 2:30pm and reached there by 5:00pm.Roads were excellent.We explored the famous Mugaru Male shootins spot and spent a good time there.We decided against travelling from Jog to Bangalore on the same day as it would be a night drive.So stayed at jog in Sharavati tent house.It was good and economical.Thats it for Day 3.

Good pics and nice explanation. Do we have to expect more of the pics. As your 1st post states that the Jog Falls is your last stop.

Excellent write-up.

You should have become really tired with driving in the rains & fog; with a couple of disapointments.

In spite of that, you have managed to get some great pictures. Great Job !

Sri Murdeshwar Temple tower is really tall !!

Thank You Bro.I have changed my driving style drastically,I did not zoom in this whole trip except for the tumkur highway while i was returning.
But I damaged my front Bumper today for no mistake of mine when a bike crashed.This really switched me off.
