Great travelogue and pics, Avi! Keep 'em comin'.
One of the boards indicating distance to Mumbai, Pune, Omerga, etc is misleading: while most of it is blank, the distance to Mumbai is grossly exaggerated.
So your distance one way from Himayat Nagar to Panjim is around 850 kms, right?

Thanks Venu, it was a deliberate snap of that signboard. Please don't take that as a benchmark when you make a trip on that road

From Hitec City, it was approximately 775km so from Himayathnagar add another 22kms.

Nicely written!!
Even though it was long I did not mind becoz the write-up kept me hooked.

Yea, booze & Goa are almost synonymous with each other.cheers: I couldn't make it to Goa this year so far. Your piece here has motivated me to plan this trip somewhere in Nov.

BTW, the red color of your ride has come out beautifully in the snaps, my ride has the same color & just love it on any car!! Also the Sweet Chilli restaurant was near Fort Aguada rite?Or is this at some other place?

Apologies for the long winding narration. The problem with me is once i get started, i tend to babble

Glad you like the travelogue and you bet the red chilly looks awesome in pictures and mind you it is no trick photography, is as well maintained as it looks in the pictures. And, your right sweet chilly is the one on the Fort Aguada road.

Next day after a sumptious complimentary breakfast of toast, omlettes, poori subji, we dived into the pool for some water frolic.

We spent around couple of hours in the water before we eventually checked out of this resort and checked into Molly's Malone.
