Day 03, 09 October 2010 BAGA - Morjim- Calangute - BAGA
After a very happy sleep, we woke upto a lazy day by 10:00AM.
We had some
colourful stuffs for breakfast at Coffe Day
We then took our Dios and drove on to our favourite calm beach at Morjim.
A ruins enroute. The location of Morjim
The Chapora river joins the sea here. You can see a lot of birds here. You can also see the Chapora fort up the hill
Why do we like Morjim? Well the answer is pretty simple, it a calm and beautiful beach away from the crowd. You can have the entire beach to yourself. You can drive around the beach if you like.
In October 2008, Civvy did a drive here :) An now in October 2010, we are back with our Dios.

Day 03, 09 October 2010 BAGA
Karaoke night was fun.
Guys were singing to glory.
This guy was the most memorable, sang well and a lot
Fianlly every body was tired singing, so Shakira took over with Waka Waka, and the guys took to dancing.
We enjoyed the night and the fun and munched away another heavy dinner.
By 23:00PM we reached our resort and the Dio guy was promptly waiting for the scooters. Said a thank you to him, handed over the scooters and we crashed on to our rooms.

We had food at Hotel Suraj on the NH17. The food was good and cheap.
We then just drove on the NH17 till Suratkal. Saw the REC Campus on NH17. Attachment 136007
Then went to the beach. Here there are rocks on oneside and a light house. The place was dotted with young love birds, which obviously could be from Suratkal REC. We, with the children looked like a misfit there. Attachment 136012 Attachment 136011 |
