Day 1 30th December 2012 Jr. PPG was relaxing in the cool breeze   A video from our boat ride A nice resort perched up on the hill   Palolem beach from the sea   By 08:30AM we were back to Palolem. We were tired and hungry. Decided to got to Palolem's neighbouring Agonda Beach, which is a less crowded and laid back beach. By 09:00AM we reached Agonda Beach  We crossed a small bridge to reach the beach  We were here at a beach shack till 15:00 hours. After a cool breakfast I dozed off on the beach beds under an umbrella  . Wifey took to some reading and kiddies went to the sea for fun. The Sea is very calm here and PPGs were enjoying it thoroughly...My wifey later told me I was snoring like hell  Continued... |

It's quite safe here  PPGs started to build sand castles  Jr. PPG came rushing to call me  I too joined the fun   The pit was too deep, up to my knees   It was time for lunch, and I am back to the shack  We ordered lunch, tasty Goan Fish Curry and Rice. The fancy fishes can wait for some more time Jr.PPG returning after her fun moments in Sea  Sr. PPG too  I loved this place. There are shacks and huts. Take a hut and stay there for a few days. They also do have toilets for visitors like us who just wanted to have fun in sea and take a bath. Costs were like 800-1000 this season. Off season could be as low as 200. By noon many foreigners decided to have some sun bathing   We left Agonda by 15:00 hours after lunch towards Varca. We were booked at Club Mahindra Varca beach for New Year. continued... |

We found a Temple en route  Shree Gramdev Laxminarayan Temple, Shiroti-Cola  Civvy ready for take off -By this time she had already completed over 2000Kms from home    continued... |

Spent another hour under the hot shower singing songs. By 13:00hours I was ready for the show  Kiddies had already had their session in the pool and was back for lunch. We found some cycles  Tried the big one..  Wheelie  Jr. PPG checks out the play area  We checked out the Souvenir shop for some T shirts Absolutely true  Can't you see I am in deep thought  Exactly!!!  Absolutely!!!  Some activities for the day  continued... |

Day 2 31st December 2012 By 14:00 hours we were in the restaurant ordering lunch  Yes, that's what I intent to do  Food did not come to spread the cheer  By the time we finished lunch it was 16:30. Kiddies went back to play area, and me and wifey strolled outside the resort. There is an Ayurveda Clinic nearby. I have no clue on the Russian connection though!  This seems to be a tradition. There were some dummies and we were asked for some donations...  continued... |

Day 2 31st December 2012 By 17:00 hours we reached the resort back   Resort Lobby  This gentleman sang for us Hotel California and Country Roads  Activities for the day  The second pool was empty  Wifey checking out the fountain  She decided to get back to the apartment and I decided to go take a dip in the sea at Varca beach. Gave the camera to her and went to the beach. Had a nice bath, enjoyed the last sunset of 2012 and returned to the apartment by 19:00 hours. Again had a long shower and songs and got ready for the New Year eve dinner. The resort had organized some DJ for the night. It was a crowd and the activities were quite boring. Got bored and finished dinner and came back to the room. Watched some TV for a while. Around midnight I walked to the beach and laid down there waiting for New year. The Party was going on strong in all the resorts nearby, but thankfully the beach was empty. In solitude welcomed the New Year 2013. A lot of fireworks lit the sky for some moments. Yes 2013 have come, uneventfully. In a few moments everything was back to normal. New Year, New Feeling ...It's all a state of our mind  As for me every day I am in a drive, its nothing less than a New year Day!!!Reached the apartment, wished my wifey and Kiddies a Happy New Year and crashed.... |

Did some swimming to satisfaction and was ready for lunch by 14:00 hours. By this my wifey and Sr. PPG had taken a resolution of turning vegetarian for a while. Thankfully Jr. PPG still gives me company for non veg dishes. Veg Momos for the vegetarians   Beef Steak  Goan Fish Curry Rice  Dessert  By 15:30 we finish our lunch and strolled around the Resort. The pool was empty  Decided to go to Agonda beach for the sunset. Civvy was tired of being at one place for long loved that we are driving out. continued... |
