Bangalore-Maddur-Shivanasamudram-BR Hills-KG Gudi-Bandipore-Masinagudi-Ooty-Mysore

This is log of my trip done in April, 2008.

Day-1: We stated by 5AM from Bangalore. Destination was still not decided. We just started on Mysore. Reached the Coffee day in Channapatna and started deciding on the road ahead. The coffee day boy told us about a road to BR hills just a kms ahead. Since we had not been to this part of karnataka, we started on our trip. The road immediately gets bad and then it get worse. The ordeal continues for some 25 odd kms after which it gets better.
We visited the Sivanasamudram falls. The water level was down to a trickle. There were no tourists. The other living being there were a cow, a beggar, a coconut seller and a lasy selling masala cucumber.
