Guess I was the first one to post on the thread after a long break. Answer to your question is "No". Snaps and the mentioned route brought back some good old memories and that is why I made a post, now happy to see the thread getting some new life.

Ealry monsoon this time, predicted to hit Kerala coast by May 26th. Inspired by this thread, planning to take a trip from Munnar to Idukki once the rain sets.

Ron, Change in plan. Taking-off to Mangalore via Shiradi ghats, hoping to enjoy rains in the Mangalore beaches. I have not done this road for last 4 years due to the horrible roads..Munnar Idukki nead to wait now. Please let me know if you plan to hit the beaches during this week

Re: Thekkady & Munnar In A Rainy Season

Great place and great photos. Ever green memories of my young age comes around my mind.Really Munnar, Rajakkadu,Thekkady are great places and Gods own land. I would like to make a trip with my grand daughters. Some queries :Those days we stayed in Periyal House. Is it there seems it is run by KTDC. Did they start the boat service in the dam.
