I wonder if the road gets too narrow for 4 wheels, since I am yet to see a 4 wheel travelogue for the same.
Moreover I am told getting permits for Marsimek la is very difficult... Is it true?
I have read about a safari TCIC 4x4 doing marsimik la sometime back.

also Army Stallions and Gypsy's do the route frequesntly so you should not worry just go ahead and plan out.

Hai Bunny Punia,

A couple of questions on the Casio Riseman you have:

Why the Raiseman and not any other model with Alt, Temp etc., I think good entry level ones start at around 8K. How accurate were the readouts (if you had compared it with any other devise, for e.g. a GPS)?

And how much did this cost you (if you don't mind?)

Thanks,

--Ramky

@motocamp: Yeah the route is the same till the Army Camp short of Zoltek TCP. There is a small field from where you veer off towards right for M top and take the curve into right side to continue up towards Zoltek and thence on to Changla. There is anopther route that goes from Tangsey but its an op track and you might have problems getting Army clearances on that route.
