A Short Drive to Lavasa - Pics of Lavasa Valley

It was long that me & my wife had gone out for a drive. So on Sunday we decided to go for a small drive. Since my wife hadn't been to Lavasa we decided to go there.

In all my previous trips to Lavasa I could never manage to go inside the Entrance Gate. We decided to try our luck this time. The notice board there read that currently they only allow 100 cars per day & No bikes allowed, now I knew why I couldnt go earlier :P

Anyways the pics of roads to Lavasa have been posted earlier So I will only post Pictures taken within Lavasa Valley

The Entrance Gate

Wow, never heard of this place before.

Though I have noticed Lavazza written under Barista in most of their signages.

For those who have not heard about Lavasa, Here are some pics from my earlier rides

Lavasa Ride pics

There are a few more threads on Pune Team-Bhp meets at Lavasa.

Some details on Lavasa
Quote:
Lavasa is being touted as India's First hill station since Independence. It is being developed in accordance with the controversial Hill Station policy passed by the Maharashtra government. The project is being developed by HCC India near Pune and Mumbai. It is spread over 12,500 acres (51 km2) of land and is scheduled to be completed by 2021. The first phase (Dasave) is scheduled to become operational by June 2009. It will be a self-equipped city developed on the principles of New Urbanism.

Suffice to say they arent the same reference! Lavasa is a beautiful hill station and Lavazza is an Italian coffee manufacturer, among other things.

Nice trip, Tech.

Actually its not, but if the rush is less & you have sales inquiries to make then they allow. As of now they dont allow bikes inside & only 100 cars per day.

I hope this clears

Never heared of this place before but what a beautifull place!!! it seems like a lot of de-forestation has happened to construct the city. But hopefully they will plant some tree saplings soon so that the hills are back to their original grandeur.

they are very much different, however they seem to have the same infrastructure. vehicles designed by dc, similar looking bridges, even the motor sport boats seem to be of the same make, etc.

Vishal which motor sport boats did you find common, the sccoter?

The scooters are Yamaha & looked pretty brand new

They have following options -

- Scooter with driver
- A big boat which seats around 8 or so people
- A paddle boat
- A round dash boat within a small area
