You've heard right, Deky! We were there in July 2007 and it was too hot during daytime to enjoy the gardens etc...
Only on the water, in a shaded Shikara things were nice!

I'd imagine Sept-Oct could be a good time. Apple season too! The Yatra also would be over by then!

Amazing snaps Junniaga, and the snow looks verrrrry inviting. Whats the name of your dog? So tempted by the lovely snaps that I want to take the first flight to your beautiful city.

Fantastic opening snaps junniaga. Great to know that our old workhorses indica & M-800 run flawlessly even in these extreme climates.

I had been to Srinagar and the surroundings way back in 1982. Would surely love to go back there soon.

Nothing Special about number 6, but i like numbers in doubles, triples & quadruples; My old FIAT was 111

Time has changed so has weather!

April - May is a good time

Although peak tourist season, Everything is booked, Rates are like extortion!!!

One good reason for April is the Newly developed tulip garden, the snaps of the same i will be uploading next

Thy name is Euro; Although i dont have him anymore as he used to bring disaster to the Garden which my father dearly loves, On one of my trips outside Kashmir , my father gave him away to some Dog loving person assuring him to be in safe hands.
We have a small dog now, although i am planning to get a new one .

Oh pictures of our now Garden will also be posted next after the tulip garden
