Amazing pics. Is the life normal during such snowfall. As in communication lines, water supply, electricity, LPG supply etc.?

If the snowfall is as much as in the snaps then Electricity will be off for more than 24hrs.No electricity means no Water !
Main roads are swept clean by snow dozers although remain skiddy.

I still remember i started this diesel indica after a few minutes of taking these snaps, i started in half crank(it seems i have mastered a trick)

More pictures coming your way , i forgot to mention that dogs & Wheels are going hand in hand for me since childhood

Fantastic pics. Keep them coming. I was about to ask about whether you face starting the diesel Indica in that cold. Anything special about the number "6"? Loved the pic of the doggy.

I had been to Srinagar and the surroundings way back in 1982. Would surely love to go back there soon.

Awesome pictures ....

Make me wonder, why do people have to spend so much money on a European trip, when you can get such beautiful nature here in India. Would love to drive through Kashmir someday on a road trip.

Well all I think looking at these pictures is :

"Gar bar-ru-e-zamin ast; hamin ast, hamin ast, hamin asto!" (“If there be a paradise on earth, it is here, it is here, it is here!").

ooh! these snaps reminded me of my childhood. I have spent 8 wonderful years in Kishtawar and in Akhnoor. I wish I can go back there. I would love it. "Jannat"
