whats that?

Not another Political Agenda or Country.

ok ok its Orissa and the Drivoblog starts.

Lets hope it takes me places as I intend to.

Well .. I am from orissa and the thread is very nicely named ...

So I assume you are off to Daringibari ( we pronounce it as Daringibadi) .. This is one of the most coolest place in Orissa in winters .. so hope you will have good time there in the summer ..

Dude do post more pics and add couple of lines about your journey and experience in Kalingastan ...

I strongly felt that is the appropriate term due to its Historical Eminence. Am glad you noticed it.

Well the next hop after Puri depends on the climate as I mentioned.

kalingastan?

kalinga- king of orissa.
stan---land, area . this word mostly used in middle east, not in India.
sthan-land, area. this word mostly used in India.

i think, the word should be KALINGASTHAN and not Kalingastan.

its like Rajastan or Rajasthan.

I second your opinion, and I'd say you are right for sure. Puri beach has a vast expanse of sand till the sea water, like Marina Beach at Chennai. The beach at Gopalpur and Vizag have lesser width when it comes to the stretch of sand.

BTW "agar Train ki baat kahi hai to" that Train shot came out to my satisfaction even at 110kmph and without sports mode.

Especially you can see the wheel contacting the rail in the picture.

Hi Tirthankar: Although another thread exists about my query, I'm just wondering whether the Orissa MVD guys tried to fleece you of money in the name of "entry tax" at the Jaleshwar border?
