Yes, it is the entrance to Guna caves. I found the mist surreal and magical too.

Final set of miscellaneous pics from my Kodai trip, which showcase Kodai town, the hotel we stayed at which was adequate, some scenery and night images near the lake. Hope you liked looking at the pics in this photoblog as much as i enjoyed myself at this pleasant spot.

Beautiful informative pics..I have been to Kodi years back, now it seems to have changed to Pizza and Baskin Robbins culture.
But the lake looks same and serene as it was.

Hey Nick, great pictures and very good narration. I haven't yet visited Kodai and this is quite inspiring and am sure that I shall do it this year.

The bunglow pics are wonderful. If only you could stay in one of those during the visit! Any idea how to book/contact?

I was told by our cabdriver that all these bungalows were privately owned by individuals or entities and were not for rent. One of the bungalows featured is owned by the Church of South India , which has a retreat there, and this is based on info painted on the board at the entrance i saw while driving past. So, if you know someone at this organization, i'm sure you can get to stay there. All of them are exquisitely maintained, regardless of ownership.
