Akbaree,

Just saw this now and read it in full. Well let me tell you one thing.

What Ashish Babu ( the new title :) ! ) mentioned is exactly true.
Very few folks research on a place. Most see and come back.
Boy! you have taken this as a PhD project. In fact more than you,
hats off to your aunt who came along and visited all the places !

Very comprehensive indeed. Also most folks (I would say all folks) dont have this view of Bihar! (This includes me too.)

To say the least even I am a history buff and my knowledge of Magadh is only bookish. I have seen many ruins but never longed to see this one. But your TL really puts on this bandwagon.

Hats off to you sir ! Very good.
Here are my stars *****!

Akbaree,

Brilliant travelogue, you have really changed my perception of Bihar. What a fantastic place where ancient treasures abound just below the surface. Perhaps it's for the better that some sites are re-buried so that they won't fall prey to vandalism. I have just had a good saturday afternoon reading your wonderful narrative. Wonder if you have posted any more.

Ampere,

Good thing, you bumped this thread. It's really cool that you dig Magadha as well as Megadeth!

Thanks everyone and I am glad you liked the travelogue.

This is easily the best and most detailed travelogue on Bihar that I have come across on this forum.

Many congratulations Akbaree on your keen eye and writing skills.

I have visited all the places you have mentioned but have not even heard of some of the things of which you have written.

Kudos mate
