bangalore is the best in this. You have a new place to go in almost every weekend.

@MC: Not entirely true. Mostly yes. but I survived 2.5 years at amdavad. You need to be creative, do overnight trips, or just lower your standards.

@WN: Lots of such stuff - no end. Ambi mall basement -1.

I'd qualify that statement.

Delhi for awesome 3-4 day weekends.
Bangalore for 2 day weekends.

Delhi has amazing variety provided one can drive a bit!
And the himalayas!!

@phamilyman: On our visit a few years ago, we had a tough time reachin Tiger falls since the trail petered out half way. A villager who runs a flour mill beneath the falls guided us there. Did you have to walk through water 3/4th of the way through or is the trail complete now?

Trail (which is how i recognised your photograph )

Hyderabad. Not so much
Well, here is an opportunity for you. Visit Sultanpur Cheruvu near Medak and you can cherish a large collection of migratory birds. Apparently, these birds have made this place their home for the first time and I just saw this in TV yesterday.

I was in Hyderabad for 10 days and feel quite bad to miss the opportunity.

Whats is the second destination? Did you continue till Tiuni? Fish seem to be the himalayan trout.

Nope. Moved back from Koti only. The second destination is Kanasar.. The third destination is Renuka lake - the offroad in the middle is the Sataun-Renuka ~32km track.
