After a lazy breakfast we bid good bye to CM Lake View Resort by 10:30AM.


Just outside the resort you can see the Periyakanal Falls






We drove towards Pooppara direction, so that we will take the Theni Dindigul route back.

We reached Anayirankal Dam by 11:00AM


We drove past the checkpost to the Reservoir side.

Its not the camera friend. Its me, I dont know much of this stuff. I admit my skills do not match the gear.

My idea is to share the places and make a log so that everyone including me and my kids can come back to it, and savour some moments. This is my favourite passtime, and not a bread winner for gear upgrades. I would not mind any sponsored gifts though, be it photography courses or gear :D

Since we had come down so far from Munnar, decided to hit Cumbum. We were bowled over by the views of Cumbum from Chellar Kovil medu on our Onam drive. So we decided to check it out and visit Suruli falls also.

We head in the other direction. We pass by Udumbanchola

We take a turn after 10KM


Cumbum is another 22Kms


We were greeted by this :D


After some winding narrow beautiful roads we reach Cumbum. We head straight to Suruli Falls

We stopped by the wine yards of Cumbum






We got two cases of grapes at very cheap rates.

We moved on


Got in to some small roads to check out

We saw this




By 18:00 we decided to call it off for Cumbum, and our trip.

By 18:30 we reached the Kumily Theni route. We drove non stop and reached Bangalore by 02:00AM the next day.

The End
