That's a wonderfully written travelogue. Enjoyed every bit of it. The conversations were fantastic. Hats off to you sir.

Such are the trips which keep the energies high all the time. Very inspirational for people like me who have just started the journey.

I am sure your productivity this week must have increased by leaps and bounds because of this refreshing trip.

Caution for anyone travelling to Nainital / Dehradoon next few days. Expect delays and jams. Be prepared for detours. Have a good road map handy. All due to surge in "Kawaria" pedestrian traffic. The National Highway passing through Meerut to Hardwar is closed.

My friends who we met up at Bhimtal are back and had messy time passing through the jam at Garhmukteshwar.

How quickly a week passes. The after effects of refreshing ride stuck with me right through the week. I felt pretty high on energy levels at work and was generally happier and cheerful. I guess it is the hot weather here that gets people in to morose mood.

And now as recharge I am looking forward to NIOC meet tomorrow morning.

Re: Just a weekend drive

Ah ... just re-read my travelogue as I got reminded about it by another friends post. Long distance drives are fun and yesterday 11 hour drive from Manali to Gurgaon was one of such drives.

Early morning start saw us all the way to foothills before traffic build up and so helped us cover the distance in pretty good time.
