Great to see an Yeti blog on my little state. It is running like a Kenneth Anderson hunting story where you cannot wait to see what awaits you in the next page..

Also, yes.

My Blackberries have all been in some weird places, no doubt.

Sammy, the narration till now was "simbly louvvabble" as they say in God's own country.

Waiting for more. Don't waste time resurrecting your Berry or whatever. Just get on with the story.

Day Two: At Fort Cochin

15 minutes of hot air and unbelievably, the BlackBerry is working again. Perfectly.

We stroll over to Kashi Art Cafe. The houses here are beautiful and as we cross one, a sign outside the garage catches my eye.

Soon we're at Kashi.

As soon as I enter this quaint little cafe I am greeted by an Art installation. I am struck by the overall look. Unfortunately my camera can only capture so much...

Kashi is a peaceful little quaint cafe. The staff are friendly and everyone knows everyone. As I discover shortly, almost everyone seated here are either permanent, or temporary parts of the furniture.
There's a very very limtied menu, most of the food is du jour and they serve press cafe in little Bodum presses.

Most of the seated crowd comprises of foreign tourists. We sit on a bench, there are benches to our left and right.
I look around. TO say that it is arty and attractive would be an understatement.

The stuff around me is downright eclectic. Tables made of old Singer sewing machines or industrial transformers, the decor is minimalistic, but detailed. It's hard not to fall for this place.

We settle down at 10 am. I order a healthy big breakfast. Eggs, fruit, some gorgeous bread and coffee.

Thus begins one of the most interesting days.

Helen & Loin...

In this pic I could almost see Helen gyrating to some disco number around a bunch of cigar smoking, mole sporting 'bad men' with Mr.Loin at the head of the table !

And the 'People who park in front of....' sign is priceless!

Hi Sam

A truly excellent beginning to a potentially wonderful yetiblog. Me getting hooked to Team BHP was partly due to your wonderful blogs. Your brevity and humor makes your blogs a delight to read.

Cant wait to read more..
