Thanks a lot

I really appreciate your coments. I do agree that some times I parked my car on the wrong side.It was a mistake. In that particular spot, there is a blind spot in the left side and there is no other location to stop the car.

I do agree about Pramod's comments. We are not supposed to take the photos of "Lakya Dam". Now it is filled with slurry and in pathetic condition. What you see in the picture is not muddy water, it is slurry. To understand the extent of damage done to nature in Kuduremukh, one has to visit the "Lakya Dam" and see personally.

There is no place/lodge to stay in Kuduremukh. Kuduremukh is just like a ghost town nowadays. One has to cover Kuduremukh from Karkala/Sringeri/Kalasa or Horanadu. It is very hard to get even a cup of tea over there.

Yes , I have taken many snaps, but quality of some snaps are poor. So I have not included them.

Dharmasthala can be easily covered from Mangalore. It is about 74kms from Mangalore. And Subramanya temple is about 49 kms from Dharmasthala.
Regards

One can stay at "Bhagavathi Nature camp" in the heart of Kudremukh.

Horanadu Hallimane

Hallimane family are well known in Kalasa. If you want to visit Hallimane, while returning from Horanadu take diversion to the left at "Daarimane cross", (Daarimane cross is about 4kms from Horanadu temple) proceed for about 1k.m.,towards Sringeri in that road. On the left side Hallimane is situated. You can see lots of curious items over there. You can contact Mr.A.V.Hegde of Hallimane family , over his mobile phone -09448640722, if you find it difficult to locate the place.
