GETZ'd: The Torque twins visit Yercaud!

Superb pics and nice writeup MCL ! Yercaud is definitely on my list. Whats the exact distance and the time taken to reach Yercaud from your place?

That said it was an amazing drive. Rajeev got to run in his car and i got to test the limits of mine. Man that RD tuning box packs a punch. The car is so much more rev happy now. Oh and btw guys i put the box in economy mode(am allowing you guys to guess the mileage i got). The next set of pics to come speak more about how we guys enjoyed. All those who love nature need to visit yercaud, the lake, the ladies seat, the waterfall - all these yet running in front of my eyes not to mension the evil twins and the "INCIDENT", the speedo. I can keep going on and on. Guys dont miss the next one. Cant wait for the next one to come.

And by the way guys K&N is available for the getz and it has a plastic framework. Hmmm! i shall put up the pic of the GC filter soon and you guys can check it. For the records i bought the filter about 3 months ago and used it only for 10 days

The round trip was about 472KM and every bit of it was superb.

From Bangalore Yercaud should be around 230kms. Getting to Hosur is the pain, which normally takes up 1.5hrs if you go thru peak traffic hours. Krishnagiri to Salem should take you another 1.5hrs at decent speeds. The ghat section, 20 odd kms will take you around 30-45 mins depending on traffic.

that's what was leaving me confused when we went for the Nandi Hill drive!! I was wondering.. does he have the Pete's box or the RD ecu...

Heart said the latter seeing the way the car was moving but mind said Pete's seeing the sticker on the back..

Anyway, the pics were awesome and looks like you guys had fun... Congrats to braj again!!

Also!! what was the mileage you guys got on the rd'd getz.. in the eco mode?

Salem is my Dad's native and I have been to Yercaud more than 30 times. But, overnight stay was only couple of times. Best time to visit Yercaud would be in December. You can notice an extreme change in weather compared to Salem and Yercaud.
Whats that a GETZ drive or something

By the way shyam getz d was in stock condition except green filter when we went for nandi hills night drive. Rd ecu was fit in just 2-3days back.

There is detailed review coming from shayam regarding the RD ecu performance & mileage. Heard mindblowing figures in eco mode and i am not allowed to spill the beans.

excellent pictures and nice report , and to think i missed this by a whisker , makes its all the more bad .

I was on the last legs of one of my 10 hrs drives from TVM to BLR, was too exhausted to do the detour.
