I am a bit worried for the D1 and D3 (NH17 through Kerala) as well.

But my plan will work only if I take up this task.

1. Whether I should go via Yellpur-sirsi-kumta-NH17?
or via Ankola?
2. Stay options at Kollur?

bbhavan.

NH63 is much-much better compared to Sirsi. Its a belter of a road. Imagine you can do 90km 90-100 minutes in spite of ghats. That speaks about the road.

Thats why I was saying halt at Hubli on D1, start early the next day visit Murdeshwar and by evening reach Kollur. You dont have to stay at Murdeshwar.
