Strongly advice you take a proper SUV for that stretch...

I agree with you. We did Gurgaon-Srinagar-Leh-Manali-Gurgaon in June this year & the worst Pass crossing (in our opinion) was Rohtang. Tanveer just did a trip to Kunzam & found black tarmac on Rohtang for a kilometer on either side. Too good to last, it'll be gone by the time they open up the roads in April-May!

I have a Safari 4x4 so roads (or lack of them) are not an issue
