| It took us about 4 hours from Manali to cross Rohtang we stopped at Khoksar for lunch steaming rajma chawal & kadi. It did not feel any warmer than Rohtang the locals told us that it had been cloudy & windy all day. From Khoksar to Sissu the road was good in patches the roadwork here seems to be in continuous flux! Stopped at Tandi for fuel and then on to Keylong past another water crossing this one pretty tough because of the melting snow in the late afternoon. We decided to stay at Jispa no particular reason except that the name sounded nicer (to me) than Keylong Khoksar  On the way   Clearing a landslide - this is where a bike scores over a 4 wheeler.  Petrol at Tandi after getting an alarming FE earlier  Keylong  Towards Jispa   |

| Hi amip, your travelogue though still to complete is very well written.many of us are glued to it.In our hurry to go through the travelogue many it seems have failed to note that you are the lady whi is narrating and your partner amit was riding.  Hope the fracture is healing well and soon you would be fine.Take care and keep the travelogue going..... |
