Sorry I dont remember the name, its the one shown in the pic with safari.

BFGs behaved ok, I am not satisfied with their on road grip. On sharp turns on hills they skid a bit as compared to stock safari tyres.
Off road they are fantastic, they get you out with least possible wheel spin and lots of grip in any off road terrain.

Great pics aman. For Lachungla there is an easy shortcut after Nakeela.
As for AT tires, even Conti ATs skid on wet tarmac more than the soft HT tires.
I guess no AT tire designed for offroading can beat HT tires in terms of on tarmac grip

Thanks, I missed that short cut.
Short cuts were the most fun to drive, because you are not sure that they will meet the road, and how will be their intersection with the road.

And the best part of shortcuts was just coming ahead a carvan of taxis in a flash without overtaking them.

I'm finding the Yoko Geo AT/Ss have amazing grip levels compared to the Stones on my daily drive. Very very confidence-inspiring I can assure you.

That means the comparable non AT Yoko's will offer even better grip.
For example BFG Long Trail offers better grip than BFG AT.
Ditto for Continental Latitude vs Continental AT
Anyways dry grep is great, but its the wet grip which is slightly less, esp while braking, though while cornering there are no issues.

No idea....all I know is that the AT Yokos are behaving way better than the non-AT Bridgestones on tarmac (wet & dry).

Hey man, I can never forget this bridge as I had a very interesting experience in there. I was to cross it after a truck and that truck shook the bridge well enough to make a metal plate come off. I stopped my car, got out, went over to the bridge cavity and realized it was wide enough to swallow even a R20 tyre size. Couple of tempo travelers came by and decided to take their vehicles through the dry river bed below. I had no intentions to follow them. Truckers simply went over the gap. Then came an Innova and I told them why I am stuck. That guy looked at the tempo travelers going below and told me that he'll follow them. I advised him not too as there were big boulders and you don't have as much traction as the tempo. But I was rebuffed, not too graciously that I thought so since I was in a small car. Guess what, 5 minutes later, that Innova was stuck in the river bed.

BTW, after 10 minutes of contemplating what to do, I remembered that I was carrying two sturdy wooden planks with me. Next few minutes were spent laying them over the gap, approximating their alignment so that the car will pass over them. Needless to say that when I was taking the car over the planks, it was very interesting.

We reached lake around 6pm,it took around 4.5 hour to pangong lake, stayed at camps on pangong lake.
