Mileage was 9.5 per litre
My all-inclusive cost was around Rs 1000 per day (Fuel + Food + Hotel + Misc)
I spent Rs 22,000 on preparing the car and repairing/servicing it after the trip (not included in the above cost).

BTW did guys lost a day somewhere or dates in actual log is wrong from planned log.

Congratulations on an awesome trip! Just went through all the pages (while the wife was waiting for me to take her out, ouch thats going to hurt me)

People can be classified in 2 classes - 1 those who have been to Leh and 2 Those who have not. Unfortunately i am still in class 2. Hope that i get to change that sometime.

Yes, happily, the trip went as per plan, and we were just 1.30 hours late from the original (reached Thane at 400 am instead of 230 am!), although we spent extra time at Chitkul and dropped the night halt at Behror to achieve that!

I look back at our trip and see that we have left each day at unholy times - 240 am (D1), 316 am (D2), 625 am (D3), 545 am (D4), 635 am (D6), 600 am (D8), 628 am (D9), 630 am (D10), 610 am (D11), 650 am (D12), 645 am (D13). Only on 2 days, we left after 7 am. Our longest day was actually 2 days-2 nights, the drive from Sangla to Chitkul and return journey to Bombay, which was in 1 sitting. There were no other all-night drives. We stayed 2 nights at Leh, in no other place we stayed more than 1 day at a stretch.
