All the very best Sam! The success of this drive should be made public (when it happens) through TBHP, newspapers and online blogs.

The Nano will surely deserve the recognition if the drive goes well.

Keeping my fingers crossed. You will have one follower on this thread for sure over the weekend!

Sam and N_C, all the best!

My suggestion is this: Post only brief updates while you guys are on the road. I would hate to see a master storyteller temper his words thanks to his fingers having swollen up by typing on a blackberry!

I would much rather enjoy the entire story rather than brief updates. Unless of course, the Yeti has fingers which are supernatural and he can type long posts on his phone

Hey Sam, one way not to miss the exit on the Baroda Ahmedabad expressway is that the exit is about 5 km before the end. There are two exits - you need to take the second one. It points to Gandhinagar, Himmatnagar.

Why Sam why? Why do you want all the "Married" Team BHPians to get a beating from their wives (and GF's) during this long weekend?

I am imagining a situation here...!

Somewhere on the Golden Quadilateral - 2 Evils with an Angel giving live updates - "Cameraman N_C ke saath, Sam Kapasi" Team BHP.

There in Delhi, Tyre Bhagwan, Panky, Varun wait for you with the Garland! Also, are more Team Bhpian's joining in? HVK? BAck up vehicle?

All the best and drive carefully.

I can kinda imagine that your dont have plan B in case of a breakdown - i guess thats what makes it all the more adventerous and bring in that 'kick'!!!

Have a good and safe trip.

All the best Sam!!!
Went through all your posts and your concern about luggage!! What do you think of an overhead carrier? ofcourse will not look as cool but might solve your luggage carrying woes. also will that be too much for stability in high crosswinds on the plains?
All the best to you and NC again
Cheers!!

No advices, just a hearty Best of Luck and Safe Journey wish.

A toast to two brave men who will carve a new record in the annals of Indian automotive history, (and by extension, Team-bhp! Any chance of putting the TBHP stickers????)

Looking forward to your blog and have a good meeting on Sunday!

Sam this is super fun stuff! If you'll have time in Delhi, I am sure we could all plan a MEAT and celebrate your trip (and keep the memories for a long long time!)

Hey Sam, what's all the hype about? Apologies for being a bit of a spoilsport here, but the Nano is a decent functional car. You've got a brand new car. And all you're travelling is 1500 km, planning to do it in 36 hours where a regular sedan and good driver can do it in 20 (I've done it ). You're travelling one of the most well-developed NH in the country, with fuel available every 25 km at the most. I wonder why we have all the doubting Thomases on this forum, who expect the worst - breakdowns, tow ropes, jerrycans, etc. etc. Why don't you come over to Delhi and hand the car over to Tanveer, and he can take it for a quick spin to Rohtang Pass (maybe even Leh ) and back, just to tell the world that the Nano works!

Have fun, enjoy the trip, enjoy the car, enjoy the music, and keep posting. Get rid of those misgivings that everyone seems to be hammering into your head.

I am sure the trial Nano's would have done many such trips before hitting production.

All the best wishes to Sam & NC from everyone of us. Drive safe, enjoy the trip and keep updating as and when possible.

Oh! I highly doubt any vehicle undergoes a trial run from Mumbai to Delhi.

The Yeti goes Crazier than Normal. I so totally dig your life right now.

Waiting desperately for it to be the 3rd!

@Sam & N_C

All the best guys! Hope you sorted out the different tire size issue.
