My Delhi-Bangalore Road Trip! A journey through 8 states & countless exotic locations

Its been quite a while since I have been wanting to start off this travelogue. Somehow each time, its taken a back seat. So putting up this post hoping I'd atleast start penning down one of my favourite travelogues now that I have made a start. This drive happened with a very short notice and hence I couldn't meet many TBHPians I was looking forward to, but what I did manage was to go to almost every place worth visiting along the way. Just a sneak peak for now.

I too have done the Delhi Bangalore Road trip in a 2009 model Zen during the 2009 New Year. Awesome, it was. I have full video tape of this remarkable 2733 KM 6 days drive thru the western corridor
I recommend everyone to do this atleast once in their life... Eat the local food as you enter each place.
Route :: Delhi - Jaipur - Ajmer - Udaipur - Ahmedabad - Vadodara - Daman - Chiploon - Ratangad - Goa - Karwar - Gokarna - Shimoga - Tumkur - Bangalore

Dear friends,
I am planning a Delhi- Bangalore trip over 2-3 days later this week. Any suggestions for best routes (based on road condition)? How about Delhi- Agra - Gwalior - Nagpur - Hyderabad - Bangalore?

Any suggestions?

TIA,
Abhi
P.S. We have a total of 4 passengers (incl 2 drivers) on a Tata Indica Vista.

I suggest you take the golden quadrilateral if you have enough time. Probably to do in 3 days time, I think the shortest would be the one you are counting to do. Sorry for the late reply. Please update about your trip.
