Hi Rajesh, Thanks for sharing the pictures. Which part of Kerala is it?

Somewhere near Kayamkulam I guess. The roads which run parallel to the sea are great for top down drives ( top down = open top cars :) ). We had a meet at Alapuzha sometime back and the route was similar.

Lovely place. Kerala or coastal Karnataka? I think the amby in the pic has KL registration, so it must be Kerala. Where exactly?

Nice pictures. I think I've been here for shooting Mercedes. Also I think that road to this approach has sea and back water on the sides. If I remember correct we went there via Quilon.

That is exacly why I did not mention the place.

It is Kappil beach about 25 to 30 kms from Kollam. You have to take a right at Chathanur on the NH47 south of Kollam.

This is the point where the backwaters meet the sea.

First visit, we got late and reached only at 1730 hours.

And I have put up all the photos. Sorry.

Wonderful. Brings back the memories of my earlier trips to Allepey, Calicut, Karwar, etc, etc,

How i wish to could drive down on the winding roads running alongside the beaches of Kerala, Mangalore-Goa....
