.......... If the other road was not blocked Conoor could have been reached faster.

By 11:00 We reached Sims Park. .
For people visiting sims park, there is a small govt run agency close to the telephones exchange very close to the sims park junction that sells some excellent jam and squashes made of plums , passion fruit etc. You might want to try them, havent seen these even in shopping malls at bangalore.

Day 2, November 28th 2009 Continued

The Tea Mueseum.

Exactly on the first hairpin bend on the Kotagiri Road there is a Tea mueseum. Since it was on our way and we did not have any particular place to go on the agenda, we drove in at 13:30PM. It was a pleasant experience for the kids to learn how tea was made.

Day 2, November 28th 2009 Continued

Chocolate Factory.

After finishing with the Tea Factory, we visited the Chocolate Factory in the same premises. Unfortunately the chocolate making process was not there, but we could buy chocolates from there. Rates varied from Rs70/- per 100 grams to Rs100/- per 100 grams. We purchased some five varieties and that sufficed for lunch
